JesusVR World Tour
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Approval notice: This policy describes the current website build. The legal operator name, postal address, dedicated privacy contact, and final retention schedule still require owner confirmation and legal review before a major campaign launch.
Scope and operator
This policy applies to information collected through jesusvrtour.com. “JesusVR,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the JesusVR World Tour website and church activation offering. The operator's exact legal name, business type, and mailing address are pending owner confirmation and must be added here before campaign launch.
Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
The host inquiry form can collect your first and last name, email address, optional telephone number, area of interest, message, consent choice, and submission time. The Tour Updates form can collect your email address, city or region, consent choice, and submission time. We also create a submission identifier so a request can be tracked and answered.
Campaign and page context
If campaign values are present in the page address, the site can read UTM parameters, Google and Meta click identifiers, the landing page address, referring page, and the call-to-action location. These values remain in the current page's browser memory and are sent to JesusVR only if you submit a form. They are not saved to browser storage by this site.
Security and session information
The hosting service can process IP addresses, request dates and times, requested pages, browser or device details, and security events in ordinary server logs. A short-lived, secure session cookie may be created after a form submission so the site can return validation messages or a success confirmation. A normal first visit does not require a JesusVR session cookie.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to host, ministry, media, partnership, and general inquiries;
- discuss availability and prepare information you request;
- send Tour Updates only when you make that request and provide the required consent;
- understand which page or campaign generated an inquiry;
- protect the website, prevent spam and abuse, and troubleshoot errors;
- keep records needed for operations, legal obligations, and the defense of legal claims.
Submitting a form does not confirm an event, date, price, service, or booking.
Legal bases where European or United Kingdom law applies
Depending on the request and relationship, processing may be based on your consent, steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement, compliance with a legal obligation, or legitimate interests such as answering inquiries, operating and securing the website, measuring inquiry sources, and maintaining appropriate records. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing. Where it relies on legitimate interests, you may object and ask us to consider your circumstances.
JesusVR trailer and external links
The trailer is click-to-load. No YouTube player is embedded until you choose to play it. After you select play, the site loads the player from YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. YouTube may then receive your IP address and device or request information and may process data under its own privacy terms. Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other external services also take you to services governed by their own policies.
Service providers and disclosures
Information may be handled by providers that support website hosting, security, email delivery, customer relationship management, and professional services. SiteGround currently hosts the website. A provider-neutral, HTTPS-only CRM connection is available in the build but remains disabled unless an owner-approved provider is configured. HubSpot, analytics, advertising pixels, and automated marketing email should remain off until configuration, consent, and policy approvals are complete.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support a business reorganization. The current website is not designed to sell personal information. Whether any future advertising activity constitutes “selling” or “sharing” under an applicable law must be reviewed before that activity is enabled.
Providers may process information in the United States or other countries with different privacy laws. If cross-border transfer safeguards are required for the operator's activities, the operator must confirm and document the relevant provider terms and lawful transfer mechanism before launch.
Retention and security
The following is the working retention schedule and remains subject to owner and legal approval:
- general inquiries: up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an active relationship, contract, legal duty, or claim;
- Tour Updates records: until you opt out or after 24 months without engagement, subject to the configured email provider's capabilities;
- consent, opt-out, and suppression records: as long as reasonably necessary to honor choices and demonstrate compliance;
- form-result session data: only for the short session needed to return a message to your browser;
- security logs and rate-limit records: ordinarily up to 90 days unless a security event requires longer investigation.
We use measures such as encrypted HTTPS connections, secure session settings, request validation, anti-spam controls, access restrictions, and limited data collection. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information you submitted. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing when applicable. California, European, United Kingdom, and other privacy laws can provide additional rights depending on where you live and whether the law applies to the operator. If applicable, you may appeal a denied request, authorize an agent, complain to the relevant data-protection authority, and exercise a privacy right without unlawful discrimination. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law permits or requires it.
You may opt out of Tour Updates at any time. Until an email provider with a tested unsubscribe link and double opt-in flow is configured, use the JesusVR contact form and write “unsubscribe” in your message. We will use reasonable efforts to honor the request and keep only the suppression information needed to avoid contacting you again.
The site does not currently use behavioral advertising cookies or a consent-managed analytics system. Browser Do Not Track signals are not standardized. Any future analytics or advertising tools must be reviewed, disclosed, and configured to honor applicable consent and opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control where required.
Children
This website and its inquiry forms are directed to adults who organize, host, or support JesusVR activations. They are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website features or data practices change. The updated date at the top shows when the policy was last revised. Material changes should be reviewed before new marketing or data tools are enabled.
Contact
Use the JesusVR contact form for a privacy request and identify it as a privacy request in your message. A dedicated privacy email, legal operator name, and postal address must be added after owner approval.
