JesusVR World Tour
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Current status: JesusVR targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for this website. This is a target and ongoing commitment, not a certification or a claim that every page, third-party service, venue, or VR activation currently conforms.
Our commitment
JesusVR wants church leaders, families, educators, partners, and community members to be able to learn about the experience and contact the team. We aim to provide content that works across screen sizes, supports keyboard use, communicates structure to assistive technology, and respects user motion preferences.
Measures included in this website
- semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and descriptive page titles;
- a skip link and visible keyboard focus indicators;
- keyboard-operable navigation, FAQ controls, links, buttons, and forms;
- field labels, validation messages, status announcements, and instructions that do not rely on color alone;
- descriptive alternative text and captions for meaningful JesusVR images;
- a text description accompanying the activation map;
- responsive layouts, relative text sizing, and support for reduced-motion preferences;
- a click-to-load trailer so the external player does not load until requested.
Known limitations
- Trailer captions: The accuracy and completeness of captions on the third-party YouTube trailer have not yet been independently confirmed. A transcript or corrected caption file should be published after rights and accuracy review.
- External services: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other linked services are operated by third parties and may have accessibility barriers outside JesusVR's control.
- Interactive or visual content: Some map and visual details may be easier to understand visually. The site includes a text summary, and we welcome requests for another format.
- VR activations and venues: Website accessibility does not mean every headset, activation format, or host venue can meet every access need. Age, mobility, seated participation, motion sensitivity, vision, hearing, supervision, sanitation, and other needs should be discussed before booking.
Request help or another format
If you have trouble using the site, need information in another format, or want to discuss access needs for a possible activation, use the JesusVR contact form. Include “accessibility” in your message, the page or feature involved, the format you need, and a way to contact you.
A dedicated accessibility contact and response-time commitment still require owner approval. Until then, the general contact form is the active route and requests should be handled as promptly as reasonably possible.
Assessment and review
The site is reviewed through code inspection and automated and manual browser checks. Automated tools cannot find every barrier, so feedback from people using assistive technology remains important. Accessibility should be retested whenever the design, forms, video, analytics, or third-party tools change.
Event accessibility
For a confirmed activation, the host and JesusVR should document available accommodations, essential technical or safety limits, participant guidance, venue responsibilities, and a contact route. No accommodation is promised until it is confirmed in writing for that event.
